Another small business closes…
Another small business has shut its doors. This time it’s personal.
Gregory’s Piano Bar in downtown Dayton closed on May 19th …the very same day we called to schedule a night of celebration for small business owners.
SBSA held its very first event/meeting at Gregory’s. For sixteen months it was home base for our monthly networking events. We even celebrated our first anniversary at Gregory’s!
Co-owner, Matt, said the downtown construction led to their demise, but I can’t help but wonder …was there more we could have done?
May 23 – May 29 is National Small Business week. There is a big celebration in Washington D.C., but how does that benefit us small business here on Main Street, America?
Who is looking out for us …helping each of us keep our doors open?
